OFP (Ottawa Foyers Partage), a non-profit corporation, provides welcoming and loving homes for persons with disabilities.

It also offers meaningful work and volunteer opportunities where people can contribute and feel rewarded.

The goal is to ensure that people with disabilities have every opportunity to fully participate in society, continue their personal growth and make choices in their lives.

OFP began as the dream of two dedicated people, Danielle Allen and Normand Pellerin. With the support of Holy Cross Church in Ottawa, they opened a home in 1982 called Ottawa Foyers Partage. The name "Ottawa Foyers Partage” came out of the first meeting with the church (“partage” means to share). Over time, this first home for three residents expanded to become three homes with nine residents and ComputerWise, a computer workplace program for persons with disabilities. In 2001, the Board of Directors hired Elisa Wyatt as its first full-time community leader.

With Elisa at the helm as Executive Director, Ottawa Foyers Partage has grown to four homes with 17 residents. In addition, ComputerWise moved to larger facilities in October 2007.
